It has been five weeks since I began the arduous task of becoming a Hundredaire (that’s like a millionaire only 10,000 times poorer) and I am proud to announce that I have finally earned enough to retire on, that is, if I was an ant. However I do feel that I am finally getting some traction on the whole enterprise and as slow as it has been I’m definitely moving in the right direction – forward! Let’s just jump right into it shall we? Here’s a brief recap. Last week I listed 16 Books on Trademe , most of which cost me 50 cents each, except for two that were a dollar, from a local Opportunity Shop. I chose books that I recognized as popular from my own experience as a book salesperson in my youth, and also books that I definitely would have considered putting on my own bookshelf so I could dream about the day when I would find the time to actually read them. (If memory serves me correctly eBay charge your credit card directly, but it’s been years since I used eBay. Why? Kiwis just don’t use eBay, and as for the time being I want to keep my sales local, this is where my market is. I want to tell you about a certain love of my life. She is delicate and yet rough enough to have a tattoo on her face, of The Queen. She's not scared to pay for her man (that's me) and my wife is more than happy to allow me the freedom of her company... ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the New Zealand twenty dollar note.
